If you're like me and finding yourself pining for the Olympic Games that are now over, take hope. Keith Loutit and Jarbas Agnelli's shot over 170,000 still images for this tilt shift video of Rio de Janeiro and Carnival. The music and photography are brilliant, and the 2016 Olympic Games can't come fast enough.

Beautifully photographed and compellingly edited, I'll agree. But WHY would you score a short film called "City of Samba" with such turgid techno music when there is so much delightful samba music that would have been more evocative of the Cidade Maravilhosa and of Carnaval?

Philip, a similar question was put to the producers on Vimeo. Jarbas Agnelli responded: "I understand what you are saying and I know that many people may feel that way. But unfortunatelly this is not a documentary about Brazil or samba. This is the expression of two artists."
