Tell that to the Taliban. They turned a relatively modern Afghanistan society back into the Dark Ages .

I wish Chavez was right. There are twice as many black men in jail now as in 1964 when the Civil Rights laws were passed. White men and black men consume drugs at the same rate, but black men are incarcerated at four times the rate. Creationism is being taught in Florida and Texas as valid natural history "theories" equivilent to Darwinism. The hisotry of the Jewish people shows that things can go backward very quickly. Chavez has more vision and more hope than some of us.
