Reflections

I'm sorry the President of ALL Americans, of whatever faith or no faith, chose to read text from any book of faith.

I'm glad he read an Old Testament scripture, at least the Christian and Jewish citizens (the majority I hope) will relate to it. And its good both Obama and Bush were there. The City of God, should be a place which embodies the 'refuge' that is God. I pray that to be more true as we move past our personal fear of each other, our political divides and our ever increasing economic disparity. 911 took us out of our isolation and made us face a common enemy but that need is there now to become citizens of 'One Nation, Under God' not two or twenty.
