Thanks Krista. I didn’t realize your show corresponded so closely with the history of 9/11. Many voices have risen up since that day and we are grateful yours in the mix. This thought that the Christian reformation was not televised is an interesting one but it is not an excuse to let them off the hook (not that you are making any excuses). The crusaders and inquisitors were not held to a higher standard because people did not have the power to do it. Television and global networking have given us that power and regardless of how old a religion is, it must respond to the moral will of all people. Christianity took as long as it did to reform because there were no Voltaires, no Spinozas to lead the reform. We must bring all of these tools to bare because the tools of destructions are much more deadly today than the pitchforks or the racks of medieval times.
