I'm not so sure it's really about the "desire to run away" for at least some, so much as it is about wanting to really BE someplace, someplace you can feel connected to. I'm really looking forward to seeing this film, because I am one of those people, only stuck now in a house I foolishly bought in the wrong place. I'm still hoping I will be able to find the place I need to be. I enjoy people, and like having neighbors, it's just that in our society now, not many people are really neighbors, not the way it was when I was growing up in the mountains. There still are places though, I've been privileged to live in a few of them until they were "discovered" by rich people with 3000 sq ft weekend getaways and people like me couldn't afford to live there anymore.
