I like the way my friend talks of love. It goes something like this.
In the sentance  "I love you"  there is the "I" which is the self. And there is the "You" which is the other. The greater the "I" then there is not much of love, but the greater the "You", well then we're talking about something real.
That being said, one cannot efficiently love another, as efficiency is concerned with time and waste so limiting the voracity of the "I".  That's how I feel about that!
PS: love seems ego based and so it's limited by education, even, for the most part, at it's greatest.
