Ladies thank you for this thoughtful dialogue on today's economic crisis. I believe the crisis we are seeing today is a manifestation of a spiritual crisis reflected in a lack of FAITH.

Christians are encouraged to build upon their faith, virtue, knowledge, self-control,steadfastness,godliness, brotherly affection and love. I believe that if we endeavored to practice these things after we have accepted Christ as Lord and Savior then we are able to see that
there is NO CRISIS other than the daily spiritual crises we face as individuals in life. We are to strive to overcome as we life. Our lives are meant to be the exercise ground to practice spiritual development, however many of us neglect our souls and forsake everything for the love of money (career, material things, etc). This time is a great opportunity for every one of us to take account of what truly matters in life and redirect our efforts to enjoy our lives and each other believing that if we seek His Kingdom first all things will be added unto us (Matthew 6:33).

Below is the scripture that supports my theory.
1 Pet 1:1-10
To those who have obtained a faith of equal standing with ours by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ:

2Pe 1:2 May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.

2Pe 1:3 His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence,

2Pe 1:4 by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire.

2Pe 1:5 For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue,[fn5] and virtue with knowledge,

2Pe 1:6 and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness,

2Pe 1:7 and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love.

2Pe 1:8 For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2Pe 1:9 For whoever lacks these qualities is so nearsighted that he is blind, having forgotten that he was cleansed from his former sins.

May God Bless You All!
