"Built to Last, and Lasting"

This New York Times article addresses a number of transitional questions asked by Mockbee purists, and answers them through students young and old.

The Rural Studio Companion Site

We used their site to chart our itinerary to Alabama, locate places on a map, and find out who all worked on what projects in what years. With the last couple of classes, the students are blogging their design/build projects. Youthful, energetic, and vibrant.

"The Value of Architecture"

A Metropolitan magazine interview with Bruce Lindsey, who co-directed the Rural Studio immediately after Samuel Mockbee's death, and who's looking to inspire a new generation of architects in other parts of the country.
