Letter from Niebuhr's Secretary to ADA

Miss Evelyn Dubrow
Americans for Democratic Action
9 East 46th Street
New York 17, N. Y.

Dear Miss Dubrow:

I am sorry to write you in behalf of Dr. Niebuhr that since his correspondence has been delayed during the summer he feels it imperative that he resign from the A.D.A., as the doctors will not permit him any activities for a year. He deeply regrets this and sends his greetings to the A.D.A.

Sincerely yours,
(Mrs.) Nola E. Meade
Secy. to Dr. Reinhold Niebuhr
